Sometimes referred to as ‘child marriage’, or ‘Early, and forced marriage’, Child, Early and Forced Marriage and Unions (CEFMU) is a comprehensive term which refers to marriages and unions that occur under the age of 18 (early) and/or a marriage and unions without the full and free consent of both parties (forced). Forced marriage includes child marriage, but also human trafficking, ‘bride kidnapping’ etc.
All young people worldwide should be able to explore, experience and express their sexualities in healthy, pleasurable and safe ways.
